Im Film Angst spielte Jessica Napier Jade.

Angst ist ein Film über eine Gruppe von begeisterten Anhängern von Horrorfilmen, die in Sydney leben.

Jade teilt sich eine Wohnung mit Dean (Gespielt von Sam Lewis) und Ian (gespielt von Justin Smith).

Dean ist ein Mitarbeiter in einem Videoladen. Er ist ein zynischer und sexuell frustrierter Mann mit einem schlimmen Fall von ungelöster Liebe.

Ian arbeitet in einem Buchladen für Erwachsene und wartet auf seinen Durchbruch als Stand-Up Comedian.

Jade arbeitet nicht, sie ist zufrieden damit Pot zu rauchen und Videos zu schauen.

Als Straßenkind Mole (gespielt von Luke Lennox) in das Leben aller drei tritt ändert sich Jades Einstellung.

Eine weitere Kollegin von Jessica bei Angst war Abi Tucker, die May spielt. Wie Jessica Napier gehörte auch Abi Tucker zur Besetzung der Serie McLeods Töchter.

Dean is working at a video store. He is a cynical, sexually frustrated man with a bad case of unresolved love.

Ian is working in an adult bookstore, waiting for his break as a stand-up comedian.

Jade is not working at all, she contents to smoke pot and watch videos.

As street kid Mole (acted by Luke Lennox) is wandering into the lives of those three persons Jade´s attitude changes.

Another colleague of Jessica at Angst was Abi Tucker, acting May. Like Jessica Napier Abi Tucker became a member of the cast of McLeod´s Daughter some years later.

Her performance as Jade in ANGST represents Jessica Napier's fourth feature film, following roles in BLACKROCK, the Camera d'Or winner LOVE SERENADE and CUT, alongside Sam Lewis. Jessica has had key roles in the television series 'Stingers', 'Murder Call', 'Wildside' and has appeared in 'Water Rats', 'Twisted Tales', 'Police Rescue' and 'Echo Point'. She will next be seen in the feature film CITY LOOP.
